Psalm 33 - The Object of Hope

Stand Alone Sermons

Our joy and praise is fueled not by looking in but by looking out. As we learn to see ourselves rightly and behold God fully, we gain the perspective that sets our hope not in ourselves but outside ourselves on the God who is Faithful. This change of perspective brings us to a place of confidence and the joyful response of praise is given to the God who righty deserves it. The Psalmist gives us the path to the right perspective by giving us The Call to Worship (v1-3) The Cause of worship (4-19) The Confidence in worship (20-22)
