Risen Life Church
Our Sunday morning gatherings are centered upon the gospel of Jesus Christ. We gather to depend upon God, encounter his presence, exalt his glory, and receive his grace from the gospel.
Our music is contemporary though we still sing the great songs of the past. On any given Sunday, our song selection can range from hymns, Sovereign Grace Music, Keith & Kristyn Getty, Matt Redman, and other various songs that are centered upon the gospel.
We also take time in our service to seek God in prayer. We pray for our city, particular needs in our fellowship, blessing upon local churches throughout Brevard County, healing, and other things as the Holy Spirit leads.
Every Sunday, we walk through God’s Word. Our method is expository, meaning that we walk through a particular text of Scripture. We do this so that lives are transformed as the Holy Spirit empowers his Word in the heart of each person who walks through our doors.
On the first Sunday of each month, we worship God through participating in holy communion. We remember the sacrifice Christ paid for our sin as his body was broken and his blood poured out on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
FIRST TIME HERE?
The first thing you will experience as you come to one of our services is a strong love from the people of RLC. You will have no problem feeling welcomed by the great people of RLC!
Please come as you are. You will find a variety of dress styles in our church. From khaki shorts and flip flops to jeans and polo shirts, we are very casual in our dress.
Singing is a big part of what we do—we love to sing to Jesus with one another. You might not know the song we sing, which is no problem! Please listen to the words and think about how they communicate truth about God, his love for us, and how worthy he is of our joyful worship. We love to stand and sing but feel free to sit down anytime you want to continue to sing, pray, or just listen.
We also have a lot of children! On your first visit, you will notice how our meeting place has more space after we dismiss our children to their teaching time. If you have a child, you can know that they are under the great care of our children’s director and our volunteers. All of our children’s volunteers have been through a program called “Ministry Safe Training” that helps volunteers provide the best care available for your child. If you would like to be prayed for or have questions about the sermon, please come up to the front of the stage at the end of the meeting and one of the Leadership Team members will be more than happy to pray for God to intervene on your behalf.
