IGNITE Youth exists to help fan into flame a deep passion for the gospel in the teens of RLC.
Risen Life Church is deeply committed to the view that parents play the primary role in the spiritual upbringing of their sons and daughters. We believe this responsibility does not stop with childhood, but continues as they become teenagers. RLC Youth is designed to assist parents as they help their teens navigate these critical years of their lives. The focus of RLC Youth is to see our teens grow in their desire to follow Jesus and teach them about the deep truths of the Christian faith that will sustain them in the midst of a world of shifting values and attractions.
IGNITE Youth
RLC Youth is open to all youth in 6th-12th grade and their parents. We meet on 4th Sundays in the Community Center directly after our service. Lunch is provided, and parents are not only welcome but strongly encouraged to participate. Our current study is the Beatitudes in Matthew chapter 5. We also hold fellowship events for our youth throughout the year. Our annual youth camp is held in July.
Pastor Keith Bunting
IGNITE Youth Leader
Keith is the lead pastor of Risen Life Church and also currently leads the teaching of IGNITE Youth. He and his wife Kristin have been married since 1994 and have three young adult daughters. IGNITE holds a special place in Keith’s heart as he loves to see this age group be drawn into deeper fellowship with Christ and with one another. He believes passing on the truths of God’s word to the next generation of the church is serious business and it is a joyful thing to participate in at Risen Life Church.
