Next Steps

Choosing a church to belong to is a critical step that will shape how you grow as a believer in Jesus Christ. Our Explore class is designed to help everyone who is asking the question, “Is Risen Life the church for me?” As you evaluate whether or not you believe God may be calling you to join us, we want you to be well-informed about who we are.

Interested in learning more about the Christian faith? We would love for you to join us at our next Bridge Course. Come with all your questions, or just come and observe while enjoy a nice, home-cooked meal and chatting with friendly, engaging members of Risen Life.  In the Explore class,  our primary goal is to  introduce our beliefs and practices. We will look together at what Scripture teaches about the Church–its role, function and activity. Typically, we spend 4-5 weeks examining different aspects of how Risen Life Church seeks to fulfill all that we believe God has called us to be. By the end of this class, we hope you are better equipped to make a decision about membership at Risen Life.

Why does God allow suffering? Can we really trust the Bible? Is Jesus the only way? The Bridge Course is designed to help answer these questions and explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening environment over ten weeks. There are 30-minute talks covering questions we all wrestle with; the talks are followed by a 30-minute discussion to interact with the talk and share your perspective. It’s a safe environment where you can ask whatever question you like or not say a word.
